Fall Arrives in the District…
Last week was so cold I had to bring out a heavier jacket! It hit home that the dreary winter will soon be here. To stave off depressing thoughts, I needed some cheering up – hence the tulips! These colourful flowers were planted around the seated statue of Georgetown University’s founder, John Carroll. If only it could be shorts and sandals weather all the time…
